A baptism is such a special milestone, and it deserves to be remembered beyond the day itself. From the little details of their white clothing to the moments shared with family, these photos are meant to capture what this day felt like for your child and your family.

Baptism sessions are relaxed and simple, giving your child space to be themselves while we capture a mix of portraits, family photos, and those little in-between moments that make the day uniquely theirs.

A Simple, Relaxed Session

Baptism sessions are 30 minutes long and take place at either the Gilbert or Mesa LDS Temple. We’ll use that time to capture your child on their own, along with the people who came to celebrate this special day with them. I want these sessions to feel easy and natural, not like your child has to pose perfectly for every photo. We’ll take a variety of traditional portraits along with more candid moments so you have a gallery that feels like them.

You won’t have to choose just a handful of favorites from your session. Every edited image from your 30-minute baptism session is included, giving you a complete collection of the moments we capture. My goal is to give you photos you’ll want to look back on years from now, from the classic portraits you’ll frame to the candid images that bring you right back to this day.

LDS Baptism Photography FAQs

Where do baptism sessions take place?

Baptism sessions generally take place at either the Gilbert or Mesa LDS Temple. When you inquire, we can talk through the location and details of your upcoming baptism.

How long is a baptism photography session?

Baptism sessions are 30 minutes long. This gives us plenty of time for individual portraits, family photos, and a variety of natural moments without making the session feel too long for your child.

What is included with my session?

Your 30-minute session includes all of your edited images. There is no need to narrow your gallery down to a specific number of favorites.

What should we bring?

Keep it simple! Bring anything you'd like incorporated into the photos. If you'd like photos with a Book of Mormon, be sure to bring one along. Otherwise, your child's baptism clothing and the people celebrating with them are all we need.

Can we take photos with family members?

Absolutely. Family photos are an important part of the session. We can capture a combination of photos of your child individually, with parents and siblings, and with other family members who are there to celebrate.

When should we schedule our session?

I recommend planning your session around your baptism date so we can make sure there is time available at the temple you'd like. If you already have your baptism date and location, feel free to reach out as soon as you can to get your session on the calendar.
